Although alcohol has been around since the beginning of time, it seems, the various campaigns against it have always had a way of capitalizing on trends within society. From the prohibition era, to today’s stance on drinking and driving, the warring stances on alcohol, aside from the dangers of drinking and driving, seem to tiptoe delicately between a person’s individual freedoms and evidence of alcohol causing far-reaching health problems.
