American football players are some of the most visible celebrities in the country, showing adults and children alike the trials and consequences that can accompany choices regarding drinking and driving. With almost weekly reports of arrests and convictions of NFL players due to alcohol-related driving incidents, the NFL has pledged to do more to discourage players from these risky behaviors. According to Complex Sports, the NFLPA has recently teamed up with Uber Technologies, a company dedicated to helping reduce the number of drunk driving incidents.
