Mothers Against Drunk Driving strongly supports that anyone convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol should be required to install an ignition interlock device on any vehicle driven by the offender. However, a recent plea bargain has shown that there is still more work to do for this organization. New York Daily News reports that while part of Kidd’s plea bargain requires him to speak to students through M.A.D.D. assemblies, the organization still sees the plea bargain as proof that ignition interlock laws need to be toughened.
