In the last year, there have been many pleas by government and private organizations for states to strengthen the commitment to reducing and eliminating drunk driving incidents in each state. With new recommendations by the NHTSA and MADD’s annual report on the safety of each state, these voices are trying to make the roads safer for everyone. Summervile Journal Scene reports that MADD’s recommendation and review of South Carolina’s DUI policies showed there is definite room for improvement in the state.
