With lawmakers, politicians and activist organizations pushing for tougher legislation to prevent drunk driving, the laws across the country are changing. In some states, however, these laws are finding a stronger voice than ever. According to Fox 40, New York State Governor, Andrew Cuomo, is addressing the problem with drunk drivers, especially those with more than one offense, and pushing stronger laws to protect others on the roads. Cuomo wants to address the problem directly by suspending the license of those who have more than one DWI conviction, and fully revoke a license for three or more convictions.
