DC-Area Restaurants Campaign Against Drinking and Driving

As the partial government shutdown and debt ceiling decision continue to impact local businesses around Washington, D.C., the concern for residents’ safety remains a focus for many restaurants in the area. According to Fairfax City Patch,  a campaign to prevent drunk driving in Fairfax City, Virginia, has several area restaurants urging customers to “Cab or Cell” – or to call for a ride home after drinking. This campaign includes coasters that will be used in the restaurants, targeting the younger drinking population to ensure they all arrive home safely.
