Consistent with the rest of the 50 states in the U.S., Michigan will remain true to the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) limit that establishes whether a person can be charged or convicted with DUI. Mlive.com reports that Michigan Governor recently renewed the state’s commitment to the .08% BAC threshold for DUI, extending the law for more than 5 years until September 2018. At the same time, legislation is being presented to lower the BAC limit to .08% for those who operate boats, ATVs and snowmobiles within the state. Read more here: Michigan Gov.
