The various ignition interlock laws around the country have done a lot to help keep drunk drivers off the roads. However, there are still those drunk driving offenders who are on the road, behind the wheel, legally. According to KEPRTV.com, some postal workers in Washington state that have been convicted of driving while under the influence of alcohol may still be driving legally, even without a court-ordered ignition interlock device installed. This has been possible with “interlock waivers” from the post office, allowing mail carriers to deliver mail and packages all day, without supervision, or an ignition interlock device installed in any post office vehicle.
