Recent recommendations by the National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB) have polarized the fight against drinking and driving. According to USA Today, the opponents of new recommendations to lower the Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) level are less interested in mandating a lower percentage of alcohol in the bloodstream than they are with stepping up efforts that target the hardcore drunk drivers. Some of these concerns are over the fairness of mandatory ignition interlock installations for first-time offenders and repeat offenders with varying BAC levels may target people unfairly.
