Shattered Lives is a program that is against drinking and driving, focusing on high school students and their families. Eastex Advocate reports that in San Jacinto County, commissioners approved a donation to help fund a Shattered Lives program to help local teens understand the full picture of drinking and driving, including its aftermath. Shattered Lives programs hope that through reenactments of alcohol-related vehicle crashes, the impression on this young generation of drivers will be one that keeps them sober.
